………………ต่อจากบทความในเรื่องของ Fiber Optic บทความที่แล้วนะครับ เรื่อง Fiber Optic นะครับวันนี้ผมจะมาเกรินในเรื่องของ บริษัทหรือสถานที่ต่างๆ ที่นำ เทคโนโลยีนี้ไปใช้แล้วก็การเลือกใช้วัสดุอุปกรณ์กันนะครับ

เนื่องจากว่าในปัจจุบันการใช้สาย Fiber Optic นั้นมีประโยน์อย่างมากในการเชื่อมข่าวสารและข้อมูล ทุก หมาวิทยาลัย มี Fiber Optic กันหมดแล้ว หรือ จะเป็น บริษัทห้างร้านต่างๆ นั้นก็แถบจะเรียกใช้ Fiber Optic กันหมดแล้วในกรณีที่ ออฟฟิตอาจจะแยกห่างกัน ต้องการเชื่อมข้อมูลระหว่าง 2ตึก ตามรูปนะครับ

ทำไมถึงต้องเลือกใช้สาย Fiber Optic

………..แน่นอนว่าต้องมีความต้องการที่จะเชื่อมต่อข้อมูลระหว่าง 2 จุดหรือมากกว่านั้น โดยที่ เป็นที่ทรายกันดีอยู่แล้วว่าสาย UTP หรือที่คนไทยเรียกกันติดปากว่าสายแลนนั้นสามารถเดินไปได้ระยะทางแค่ 100 M ก็เต็มที่แล้ว โดยที่สาย Fiber Optic นั้นสามารถเดินได้ไกลกว่านั้นเยอะกว่าหลายเท่ามากๆ

สาย Fiber Optic นั้นจะเลือกโดยลักษณะการใช้งาน

………..มีให้เลือกอยู่ 2 อย่างนั่นก็คือ SMF ( Singer Mode Fiber ) และ MMF ( Multimode Fiber ) หากต้องการใช้ในงาน Network ที่เป็น LAN WAN ที่ต้องเดินสายในระยะทางไม่เกิน 300 เมตร แล้วเนี่ก็จะเลือกใช้สาย Fiber Optic แบบ MMF ( Multimode Fiber ) แต่ถ้าหากในงานที่ต้องการเดินสายไกลๆ เป็นกิโลหรือหลายๆ กิโลแล้วหละก็จะต้องใช้เป็นสาย Fiber Optic แบบ SMF ( Single Mode Fiber ) เอานะครับ
